Meet Dr. Martha Theirl, DPT

Founder, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Cert- CMFA

I began my Physical Therapy journey in 2016 after a career change from neuroscience and biosafety, graduating in 2015 with honors from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Diego. Utilizing a diverse skill set including manual therapy, neuro-motor planning, and personalized programming, I seek the root cause of the problem and treat accordingly.

My main values are patient education, empowerment, and truly listening to my patients to provide excellence in care and create a cohesive plan that fits into their (sometimes hectic) lives.

My story of becoming a PT is a bit unusual; In high school, I suffered a back injury and received very poor quality PT. Frustrated with their treatment plan, I decided to self discharged and proceeded to try to fix it on my own. During college and beyond, I was plagued with recurrent back pain, ending up in the emergency room following a particularly brutal lacrosse game. 6 years after graduating, I had enough and enrolled in PT school, where I began taking the first steps to heal my mind and body. After learning what proper therapy should involve, I went from being unable to run 4 steps without pain to being able to return to running and Crossfit pain free.

So why start Q4? Well, you can read the whole story here but in short I was tired of feeling like I wasn’t fully helping people just putting band aids on things.

When I’m not treating patients, you can find me with my husband, son, and dog traveling or out in the fresh air playing lacrosse. Not only am I a Crossfitter, but I also work with Westborough youth lacrosse in movement/plyometric training, as well as coaching their 7/8th grade women’s team. I also learn a new sport each year – 2024 is the year of becoming a better tennis player!

Meet Dr. Jennifer Green, PT, DPT, CSCS

Jennifer has over 20 years of experience in sports and orthopedic rehabilitation, gait analysis, and strength and conditioning. For two decades, she served as the physical therapist for the New England Revolution (MLS), playing a vital role in player evaluation, injury management, and return-to-play strategies. Her work with elite athletes has been complemented by her collaborative efforts with athletic trainers, physicians, and performance coaches to optimize player health and performance.

Jennifer is a key contributor to the Spaulding National Running Center and Mass General Brigham Sports Medicine program. She has supported the Spaulding Marathon team for over 18 years providing care, coaching and guidance to hundreds of runners of all abilities from around the world. She is passionate not only about treating injuries but also about bridging the gap between competition, wellness, and improved overall fitness. She enjoys working with clients of all ages, including adolescent athletes. She has successfully coached high school runners, soccer, and basketball players to achieve their goals of playing at all collegiate levels—and many continue to train with her during college breaks to maintain and progress their health and fitness.

By nature, Jennifer is a problem solver and likes to make the client feel ownership in their recovery and performance journeys. She emphasizes education and empowerment, equipping clients with foundational tools including movement screens, exercise prescription, manual techniques, dry needling and functional modifications — to help them feel successful and in control of their rehabilitation.

Outside of work, Jenn enjoys working out at Resilience CrossFit, running (with five Boston Marathons under her belt), skiing, listening to music, reading, and spending time outdoors. She cherishes time with friends and family, including her husband, two children, and their rescue pup, Sophie.

My goal is to be your guide, not your hero – giving you back the control in your health and providing support in the mitigation of injury and rehabilitation.

My approach to physical therapy

You tell me what you want to achieve, and I’ll get you there

I have a strict no BS policy, so if you want someone who will tell it to you straight and give you crystal clear instruction on how to improve your TMD or foot/ankle issues, we should talk.

Do our mission and approach resonate with you? I'd love to help you!
